our valve division, TERMO marked Steam
valves and armatures have been manufactured
since 1967.
In our plant which have been modernized by
joining to GEDIK HOLDING in 1987, Steam valves
(Glob, Bellows and Piston valves), valves
for hot water applications (Ball and Butterfly
valves), Steam traps, Natural gas and LPG
valves (Fire safe Ball valves), auxiliary
armatures (Check valve, Strainer and Flowscope),
and fire hydrants (Underground and Above ground
type)
TERMO
armatures are being already used in many big
trade centers, hotels, government owned companies,
heating centers and power plants in Turkey
for many years successfully. GEDIK which is
certified by ISO 9002 is the only valve manufacturer
company which peruses intensively world technology
regarding the valve manufacturing . Therefore
it is the first manufacturer of many valves
such as Globe valves, Asbestos-free Piston
valves, Maintenance free Bellows globe valves,
Fire-safe ball valves, Fire hydrant with Extra
breaking guarantee against striking, Safety
valves, Inverted bucket type Steam traps.
GEDIK has its own foundry for castings
of valve bodies and other parts, Because of
big casting capacity - 130 ton/month- we are
able to supply some casting parts for our
customers acc. to their special requests.
We have also INVESTMENT CASTING foundry which
is the first in Turkey to produce SIRMETAL
marked casting parts acc. to our customer’s
request. The method of Investment Casting
is very different from other casting methods
as well as has many advantages. Therefore
it is very useful to produce parts which need
high-tech in manufacturing. Some of the advantages
are; freedom in design and choosing material,
saving of machining operations, possibility
of complex parts etc. The limits are from
2 mm up to 800 mm in length and from 1 gr.
Up to 60 kg. in weight. This type of castings
are used in generally textile, defense, medical,
OEM, automotive and electronic industry because
there is no limits in shape.
